About the role
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks a full‑time Clinical Faculty member to join its Section of Adolescent Medicine. The role involves delivering inpatient and outpatient care to a diverse adolescent population while contributing to research and educational activities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care for adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Develop and implement an adolescent‑medicine clinical practice within a multidisciplinary health center.
- Teach and mentor medical residents and students.
- Participate in research initiatives related to adolescent health.
Required profile
- MD or DO degree.
- Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary setting treating eating disorders, obesity, menstrual disorders, mental health issues, substance abuse, chronic health conditions, reproductive health, HIV prevention/treatment, sports medicine, or transitional care.
- Bilingual ability in Spanish/English or Creole/English is helpful.
- Demonstrated teaching experience.
