Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Remote)

About the role

You will deliver care and support to patients in Carda Health’s virtual cardiac rehab program, monitoring vitals and ensuring engagement throughout rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and assess daily patient vital readings (BP, HR, SpO2) and respond promptly to abnormal values.
• Report abnormal vitals to the patient’s care team via phone or fax.
• Support patient adherence and engagement in vitals monitoring programs.
• Complete clinical documentation and billing claims for vitals reports and patient encounters.
• Collaborate with fellow Clinical Exercise Physiologists and founders to improve the digital care model.
• Work with the technology team to troubleshoot wearables and tablets for patients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology (Master’s preferred).
• ACSM certification preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in a cardiopulmonary rehab setting.
• Strong anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient‑first mindset.
• Self‑driven ability to work with little direction in a high‑growth startup.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mobile technology, wearables, and tablets.
• Experience monitoring vital signs (BP, HR, SpO2).
