Clinical Exercise Physiologist Lifestyle Coach

About the role

You will deliver care and support to patients in Carda Health’s virtual cardiac rehabilitation program, working as a core member of a transdisciplinary team that integrates nutrition, stress management, group support, and exercise.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate prescriptions and treat cardiac rehab patients according to clinical protocols.
• Provide education during Lifestyle Classes, troubleshoot technical issues, and support patients in adopting holistic lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with founders and the technology team to improve the digital care delivery model.
• Facilitate group support sessions and ensure a safe, emotionally supportive virtual environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in an in‑person cardiopulmonary rehab facility.
• Strong proficiency with mobile technology, wearables, and tablets used in digital health programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology (Master’s preferred) and ACSM‑CEP certification preferred.

Required skills

• Competence in teaching Ornish ICR lifestyle elements (nutrition, stress management, group support, exercise).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for virtual patient interaction.
