Clinical Engineering Cyber Specialist

About the role

The Clinical Engineering Cyber Specialist will protect medical devices and healthcare technology from cyber threats. You will work closely with clinical engineering teams to ensure security compliance and mitigate vulnerabilities across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical cybersecurity initiatives for medical devices and clinical engineering systems.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and risk assessments on healthcare technology assets.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to implement security controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and support Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platforms with a security focus.
• Apply NIST and ISO cybersecurity frameworks to guide security programs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device cybersecurity or a healthcare technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of CMMS platforms, NIST and ISO cybersecurity frameworks, and FDA/Joint Commission regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience leading vulnerability remediation, risk assessments, and cross‑functional security projects.
