Clinical Business Operations Representative

About the role

The Clinical Business Operations Representative supports daily clinical operations at the Don Soffer Clinical Research Center by handling patient intake, administrative tasks, and communication with physicians and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑ and post‑patient care expectations, collect demographic and insurance data, and verify clinical record completeness.
• Answer multiple department phones using NICE inContact, triage calls, document messages, and provide courteous visitor assistance.
• Perform light administrative duties such as sorting RightFax, distributing voicemails, and covering co‑workers when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality, adhere to university policies, and support physicians, APRNs, and administrative teams with accurate documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant administrative or clinical support experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and oral).
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
• Strong data‑entry accuracy and ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NICE inContact phone system.
• Experience using RightFax for document handling.
• Accurate data‑entry and record‑keeping skills.
