Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing

About the role

Texas A&M International University seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing to join its College of Nursing & Health Sciences starting Spring 2027. This full‑time, non‑tenure‑track faculty position involves teaching, supervising clinical experiences, and contributing to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned nursing courses and supervise student clinical experiences.
• Evaluate student progress in coursework and clinical settings, and advise students as needed.
• Participate in college and university committees and provide service to the community and profession.

Required profile

• Earned master’s degree in nursing (doctorate preferred, ABD considered).
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience and an unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Teaching experience in higher education is a plus.

Required skills

• Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate nursing curriculum.
• Strong clinical supervision and student assessment capabilities.
