About the role

Texas A&M International University seeks a full‑time, non‑tenure‑track Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing to begin in Spring 2027. The position involves teaching nursing courses, supervising clinical experiences, and contributing to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

Teach assigned nursing courses and evaluate student performance in both classroom and clinical settings.
Supervise and assess student clinical experiences, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
Participate in college and university committees and provide service to the community and profession.

Required profile

Earned master’s degree in nursing (doctorate preferred, ABD considered).
Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience and an unrestricted Texas RN license.
Teaching experience in higher education is a plus.
