About the role

Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute is seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor of Fashion Design for its Los Angeles facility. The nine‑month, full‑time position begins in Fall 2026 and combines undergraduate teaching, research, and service. The role supports both on‑campus and online degree programs.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and mentor undergraduate students in fashion design, collection development, construction, pattern drafting, draping, and illustration.
• Develop new in‑person and online courses aligned with departmental needs.
• Conduct research and contribute to scholarly activities in fashion design.
• Provide service to ASU FIDM, the Herberger Institute, and the broader university community, including potential leadership duties.
