About the role

The Clinic Business Operations Representative 2 provides essential administrative support to ensure smooth pre‑ and post‑patient care within the University of Miami Health System. Working in a hybrid setting, the incumbent interacts directly with patients, physicians, and staff to resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate timely resolution of problems related to pre‑ and post‑care in daily clinical operations.
• Perform general receptionist duties, including answering multiple phones, triaging calls, and greeting visitors.
• Obtain and verify patient demographic, insurance, and referral information.
• Review clinical records for completeness, ensuring required authorizations and signatures are present.
• Document messages in the appropriate software and maintain accurate patient logs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to solve workflow challenges and provide coverage as needed.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, managers, trainees, and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to university policies and procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of relevant administrative or clinical support experience.
