Client Specialist – Employee Health & Benefits

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Client Specialist for its Employee Health & Benefits team in its Troy, Michigan office. As a Client Specialist, you will support assigned Client Managers on annual enrollment and communication projects, as well as client and carrier projects, and take on team responsibilities and additional internal projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Three years or more of administrative experience
• Two years or more in the employee benefit industry, working with billing, claims or other administration issues
• Ability to arrive early and stay late as needed, and to drive a car and pick up and deliver materials
• Strong telephone and interpersonal skills, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Required skills

• Solid Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to proofread your own work and that of others
• Strict adherence to HIPAA rules
• Organizational and time-management skills, initiative and good judgment
