Client Manager, Surety

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Client Manager on its Surety team in Richmond. The role supports the preparation and execution of bonds (performance and payment, license, court and miscellaneous), and serves and markets new and renewal surety accounts while building relationships with clients and insurance carriers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and execution of bonds, including collecting data, completing forms and preparing correspondence
• Service and market new and renewal surety accounts
• Process general agreements of indemnity
• Maintain power of attorney filings and bond supply
• Build and retain relationships with clients and insurance carriers

Required profile

• Five or more years of insurance experience in both Contract and Commercial Surety
• Property & Casualty insurance license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. permanently and without sponsorship now or in the future
• Additional qualifications that are a plus: accounting or financial background, and proficiency with agency software such as Sagitta, Image Right, Surepath and Microsoft Office products
