Client Delivery Manager - SaaS Startup

About the role

The Client Delivery Manager will partner with the Client Delivery Team to lead and execute successful engagements for a fast‑growing SaaS consultancy. This full‑time, long‑term contractor position is 100% remote with occasional in‑person meetings in San Diego and requires overlap with Pacific Time until 6:00 PM PT.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery across multiple client engagements, creating detailed project plans, milestones, and dependencies.
• Enforce scope boundaries, identify scope creep early, and facilitate client discussions to keep projects aligned with contracts.
• Build trusted client relationships and adapt to each client’s working style.
• Track engagement health, risks, and success metrics; resolve blockers and provide consistent reporting.
• Drive accountability across internal and client teams, ensuring alignment with minimal escalations.
• Facilitate clear communication, including status updates, meeting recaps, and key decisions.
• Coordinate post‑engagement implementation initiatives such as rollout planning and stakeholder alignment.
• Capture client feedback, NPS responses, testimonials, and case studies with proper approvals.
• Support capacity planning by monitoring team workload and identifying bottlenecks.
• Leverage AI tools to improve documentation, tracking, research, and execution workflows.
• Continuously improve delivery processes, templates, and systems for scalable operations.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in client delivery, project management, implementation, consulting, or professional services.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder engagements end‑to‑end in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Comfortable working remotely with Pacific Time overlap.
