Class A Team Driver – $120k‑$130k Salary

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced Class A Team Drivers to join its Fontana, CA service center. Drivers will operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on routes between service centers and turn‑point locations, enjoying a home‑every‑week schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers on assigned routes.
• Maintain a 5‑day on‑road, 2‑day home schedule.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Complete pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA military transition specs).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• CDL Class A certification.
• Experience operating double/triple trailers.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Knowledge of LTL freight handling (preferred).
