Class A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Drivers for its Sauget, IL service center. Drivers pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations and return home each night.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes between service centers.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT regulations.
• Complete pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen and road test.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least one year of verifiable Class A experience in the past three years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, no more than three moving violations in three years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug test and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.
