Civil Engineering Project Manager

About the role

DDG is expanding its civil engineering team and seeks a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, municipal, and land‑development projects. The role reports to the Senior Project Manager/Business Unit Leader and operates with a high degree of autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise design and permitting for civil projects, ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with DDG’s core values.
• Produce civil engineering plans, including drainage, grading, water, wastewater, signage, and marking for site development.
• Prepare drainage, cut‑and‑fill calculations and integrate environmental, wetland, geotechnical, and traffic reports into designs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to establish timelines, budgets, and design criteria.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.

Required profile

• Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and resources.
• Experience managing projects from preliminary design through construction and permitting.
• Strong client coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work within budgetary constraints and meet schedule targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred).
