CID Case Officer – Temporary Full‑Time (18 months)

About the role

Join Lincolnshire Police as a CID Case Officer on an 18‑month temporary contract. You will support investigative officers by managing evidence, assisting victims, and preparing case files, contributing directly to public safety in the Boston area.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and manage digital, audio, and visual evidence for PIP1 and PIP2 investigations.
• Provide timely updates to victims in line with the Victims' Code of Practice.
• Prepare and submit initial court files to the Crown Prosecution Service, ensuring accuracy.
• Collaborate with investigators and external agencies to coordinate evidence gathering and monitor case progress.
• Support officers in court, conduct inquiries as directed, and help drive case progression.

Required profile

• Recent PIP1 or PIP2 accreditation (within three years) is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence or ability to drive in the UK.
• Experience delivering high‑quality administrative services and handling sensitive material.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.
