CIB Structured Finance Associate, Tax Equity

About the role

Join Santander's Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Structured Finance team as an Associate focused on Tax Equity financing. You will work on large‑scale, long‑term projects across energy, infrastructure and real estate, helping to originate, structure and distribute tax equity and tax credit transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare marketing materials, proposals and client presentations.
• Structure and negotiate tax equity and tax credit financing transactions.
• Conduct credit analysis, risk assessment and develop cash‑flow models.
• Review legal documents and negotiate mandates with clients.
• Participate in transaction due diligence and industry research.
• Support strategic planning and business management for the Tax Equity business.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Economics or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 1‑3+ years in commercial banking or finance with strong credit analysis experience.
• Exposure to energy, oil & gas, renewable or infrastructure finance is a plus.
