Children's Fashion Designer

About the role

CP Brands Group is seeking a creative Designer to join its team and develop children’s collections for multiple brands sold in department stores, big‑box retailers, and off‑price channels. The role starts immediately and offers the chance to work closely with Sales, Design, and Sourcing teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Design Director to create children’s apparel, accessories, pajamas, and socks that reflect each brand’s DNA.
• Sketch new garment bodies with the Spec Designer and apply prints to black‑and‑white templates.
• Pair prints to form coordinated sets or full collections.
• Revise artwork as needed, including scaling prints, recreating repeats, and recoloring.
• Develop, maintain, and update tech packs linked to each design.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• 2+ years of design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates relevant work.
• Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, merchandising, art, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast‑moving setting.
• Understanding of garment construction and fit.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
