Child Development Technician

About the role

The Child Development Technician provides direct care and developmental support to children from birth to age five with developmental delays and special medical needs in the Kids First clinic in Warren, AR.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality direct patient care, including feeding, diapering, dressing, and mealtime assistance.
• Provide developmentally appropriate behavioral guidance during scheduled activities.
• Follow the ECDS direction to implement individualized, evidence‑based developmental services.
• Create engaging learning environments and apply curriculum aligned with each child’s treatment plan.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED plus six months of experience working with children, or related education (CCOT, CDA, AA, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, etc.).
• Pass state abuse registry checks, drug screen, TB skin test, and provide required immunizations.
• Strong organizational abilities and excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge of early childhood curriculum.
• Ability to identify educational and developmental needs of children.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with parents, staff, and child‑care professionals.
