Chief Financial Officer – Growth Equity‑Backed B2B Digital Services

About the role

This is a pivotal CFO position for a high‑growth, growth‑equity‑backed B2B digital services and technology platform. The role will transition finance from a founder‑led function to an institutional‑grade operation as the company scales and prepares for a value‑maximising exit.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a finance function suited to a scaling, growth‑equity‑backed technology business.
• Develop financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling to support the board and investors.
• Drive commercial rigour around pricing, margins, and client profitability.
• Prepare the business for exit with quality‑of‑earnings readiness, clean reporting, and a compelling financial narrative.
• Support M&A activity, integration, and capital events.
• Establish reporting infrastructure, controls, and KPI frameworks that meet institutional scrutiny.
• Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Prior CFO experience in a growth‑equity or PE‑backed technology or digital services business.
• Proven ability to build finance functions in high‑growth, entrepreneurial environments.
• Strong commercial instincts combined with technical accounting and FP&A capability.
• Experience supporting exits, fundraises, or M&A transactions, ideally with sell‑side process involvement.
• Comfortable operating in a hands‑on, lean team environment.
• Familiarity with professional services revenue models (project‑based, managed services, ARR) is a strong advantage.
