About the role

We are seeking a recent Bachelor’s graduate to join our semiconductor chemistry team in Santa Clara. The Chemist I will support product development and scale‑up by applying analytical techniques to novel chemistries.

Key responsibilities

• Design experiments, collect data, analyze results and compile reports on chemistry related to semiconductor integration.
• Assess the viability of new chemical processes for product teams using various analytical techniques.
• Troubleshoot product quality issues that arise from chemical processing or synthesis during scale‑up.
• Conduct feasibility testing of new chemical processes on test equipment and assist in the design of that equipment.
• Perform small‑scale testing of new chemical processes to demonstrate feasibility.

Required profile

• Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in chemistry and broadens capabilities.
• Understands key business drivers and applies that understanding to daily work.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members without formal supervisory responsibilities.
• Solves straightforward problems using technical experience, judgment and precedent.
