Chat Support Agent (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Chat Support Agent to join our customer service team. In this mid‑level position you will be the frontline voice of the brand, assisting customers across India through live chat, email and social media.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via live chat, email and social media.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and non‑technical issues, providing clear step‑by‑step instructions.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering empathetic, personalized support.
• Document interactions and resolutions in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure comprehensive solutions.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, company policies and service updates.
• Identify and suggest improvements to support processes, tools and knowledge base.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in customer service or chat support, preferably in tech or e‑commerce.
• Excellent written English with strong grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Ability to handle high chat volume while maintaining quality.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Familiarity with the Indian digital consumer landscape.
• Knowledge of a regional Indian language is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM and live‑chat platforms such as Freshdesk, Zendesk or Salesforce Service Cloud.
