Certified Recovery Support Worker

About the role

The Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) joins Paugus Bay Behavioral Health’s outpatient team in Laconia, NH. Using lived experience and trauma‑informed approaches, the CRSW mentors individuals in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) programs, helping them build recovery capital and stay engaged in treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one peer support and recovery coaching to IOP and OP participants.
• Conduct needs assessments and assist clients in creating personalized recovery and wellness plans.
• Facilitate or co‑facilitate recovery‑focused groups and educational sessions.
• Connect clients with community resources, self‑help groups, and mutual‑aid meetings.
• Educate participants on addiction, relapse prevention, coping skills, and wellness planning.
• Collaborate with clinical, medical, and case‑management teams to ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

• Current New Hampshire Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) certification or eligibility to sit for the exam at hire.
• Demonstrated commitment to recovery‑oriented, person‑centered support.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed to meet client and program demands.
