About the role
The University of Miami Hospital is seeking a full‑time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work in the Penthouse North nursing unit. You will provide direct patient care, observation, and support the nursing team in a fast‑paced, 12‑hour shift environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities and implement care plans established by RNs.
- Provide constant observation for patients requiring heightened safety monitoring.
- Perform receptionist and clerical duties to ensure smooth unit operations.
- Alert RN team members promptly when emergencies arise or patient status changes.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program.
- Valid Florida CNA license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum five years of relevant CNA experience.

- Valid Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- BLS certification.
