About the role

The University of Miami Hospital & Clinics is seeking a full‑time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Medical‑Surgical (Med Surge) team in UTower. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, supporting a fast‑paced, 12‑hour shift environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
• Collect non‑invasive body fluid specimens and record vital signs.
• Support physicians and nursing staff during procedures.
• Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and patient‑focused environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant CNA experience.
• Willingness to work a 3 × 12‑hour shift schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
