Certified Nursing Assistant – Home Health Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for per‑diem home health visits throughout Lehigh County. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care, enabling clients to remain safely at home.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Conduct vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration) and support medication assistance.
• Facilitate range‑of‑motion exercises, ambulation, and transfers using mechanical lifting devices.

Required profile

• At least one year of CNA experience.
• Active, good‑standing registration on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
• Reliable transportation and a personal vehicle.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination and background check.

Required skills

• Basic patient care techniques (ADLs, vital signs, medication assistance).
• Use of mechanical lifting devices.
