CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Drivers for its Otsego, MN service center. Drivers will pull van or double trailers up to 53 feet, travel between service centers or turn‑point locations, and return home each night.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Deliver LTL freight safely and on schedule.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, MVR standards, and company safety policies.
• Complete pre‑employment DOT physicals, drug screens, and road tests.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• CDL Class A certification
• Hazmat endorsement (preferred)
• Double/Triple trailer endorsement (preferred)
