CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver to operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations, returning home each day. This position offers a home‑daily schedule and competitive compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Pull 53’ van trailers or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations.
• Deliver freight on schedule while adhering to safety and DOT regulations.
• Return home daily after completing linehaul routes.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of combined Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA‑approved military transition).
• Ability to pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and stoop safely.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
