About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a part‑time Forklift Operator for its South Windsor, CT service center. The position starts at $24.95 per hour and offers various shifts Monday‑Friday. After 90 days of employment you earn one week of vacation and access to employee resorts.
Key responsibilities
- Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Read and interpret shipping manifests.
- Interact with a computer display for order information.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a fast‑paced LTL setting.
