About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced CDL‑A Linehaul Drivers for its Troy, NY service center. Drivers will pull van or double trailers up to 53 feet between service centers and turn‑point locations, returning home each night. The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000‑$120,000 per year and a $2,500 sign‑on bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Transport freight between company service centers and designated turn‑points.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with all DOT regulations.
• Complete pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (MVR/PSP) with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition qualification).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop safely.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Experience with double/triple trailer handling.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
