CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced CDL‑A drivers for linehaul operations at its Farmington, MN service center. Drivers will pull 53‑foot van or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations while returning home each night.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Transport freight between R+L service centers and designated turn‑point locations.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with DOT regulations.
• Return home daily after completing routes.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA transition criteria).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Experience with double‑trailer handling.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
