CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Drivers for its Canton, MA service center. Drivers will pull 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations while returning home each night.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Transport freight safely and on schedule between designated locations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (no serious violations, max 3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition qualification).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.
