CDL‑A City Delivery Driver – Grand Rapids

About the role

RLC is seeking a CDL‑A City Delivery Driver for its Grand Rapids service center. This full‑time position involves local pickup and delivery of freight with a home‑daily schedule, Monday through Friday on various shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform city‑wide pickup and delivery of freight, returning to the terminal each day.
• Make multiple stops per shift, interact directly with customers, and handle lift‑gate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.
• Operate scanning equipment to track shipments accurately.
• Maintain safe operation of the truck and all equipment.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least one year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years.
• Good driving record (MVR/PSP) with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA military transition criteria).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.
