About the role

We are looking for a CDL‑A City Pickup & Delivery driver to join our Abilene service center. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, with drivers returning to the terminal each day and enjoying a home‑every‑night schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight to multiple city locations and return to the terminal daily.
• Operate scanning equipment to track shipments.
• Perform lift‑gate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.
• Interact directly with customers and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with all DOT regulations.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience in the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (no serious violations, ≤ 3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if eligible under FMCSA military transition rules).
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and stoop safely.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Proficiency with scanning equipment.
• Electric pallet jack operation.
• Experience with lift‑gate deliveries.
• Optional: doubles/triples, tanker or haz‑mat endorsements.
