Casual Store Attendant

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Casual Store Attendant in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The role involves reselling merchandise in a retail environment, keeping displays fresh and neat and helping customers find products.

Key responsibilities

• Move merchandise using non-motorized equipment intended for display and resale
• Clean merchandise on or in display fixtures and keep the sales area neat, full and salable
• Display merchandise according to a predetermined placement system, maintaining freshness and sale dates
• Remove damaged or outdated merchandise and return it to storage
• Keep inventory forms stocked and affix labels showing sale price, item description or other information
• Offer customers help locating and selecting merchandise

Required profile

• Active government-issued clearance at the time of application or base resident
• US citizen
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous retail or sales experience is a major plus
• Comfortable working long hours on your feet, standing a whole shift, and available for evenings, early mornings, nights and weekends
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds or more
