Casting Associate

About the role

The Casting Associate supports the Casting Director in discovering and securing voice talent for Walt Disney Animation Studios' feature films. Working closely with directors, producers, and talent agents, you will help bring animated characters to life through both production and reference dialogue.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and casting directors to brainstorm and present actor ideas for main and secondary characters.
• Source and prepare audio clips for review by creative leadership.
• Engage with talent representatives, schedule auditions, and evaluate submissions.
• Maintain relationships with local and national talent agents, theater programs, and scouting events.
• Oversee reference (temporary) dialogue casting, run internal and external auditions, and manage booking logistics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in casting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with executives and filmmakers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including professional email correspondence.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
