Cashier - Toyota Music Factory

About the role

A Cashier is needed at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving. The role covers timely, efficient and accurate cash and credit card transactions and reporting, as well as setting up, maintaining and cleaning the workstation. The employer is Legends Global, an agency that provides solutions for major brands across sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare simple menu items and sell items, collecting payment and making correct change.
• Enter all sales into the cash register so purchases are accurately recorded.
• Verify ID on customers ordering alcohol.
• Suggestively sell and upsell items.
• Perform closing duties, including clean up, product storage and trash removal.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area and comply with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Provide quick, efficient, accurate and friendly service to all guests.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Fluent English and ability to work in an open-air environment in all weather.
• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs or ramps.
• Sufficient mobility for constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling.
• Meets state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.

Required skills

• Arithmetic with U.S. currency (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with service standards.
