Cashier - Tempe Diablo Stadium

About the role

A cashier is needed at the Tempe Diablo Stadium venue. The role covers timely, efficient and accurate cash and credit card transactions and reporting, as well as setting up, maintaining and cleaning the workstation. The employer is Legends Global, an agency providing solutions for brands across professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare simple menu items and sell items, collecting payment and making correct change.
• Enter all sales accurately into the cash register and perform closing duties such as clean up, product storage and trash removal.
• Verify ID on customers ordering alcohol and suggestively sell and up-sell items.
• Provide quick, efficient, accurate and friendly service to all guests and maintain a clean, neat and safe work area.
• Interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and fluent in English.
• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs or ramps, and to work in an open-air environment in all weather.
• Sufficient mobility for constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling; meets state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcohol service.

Required skills

• Arithmetic with U.S. currency (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
