Cashier - PNC Music Pavilion

About the role

A cashier is needed at the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte. The role covers timely, efficient and accurate cash and credit card transactions and reporting, as well as setting up, maintaining and cleaning the workstation. The employer is Legends Global, an agency providing solutions for brands across professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare simple menu items and sell items, collecting payment and making correct change.
• Enter all sales accurately into the cash register and perform closing duties such as clean up, product storage and trash removal.
• Interact with customers to ensure superior customer satisfaction and provide quick, efficient, accurate and friendly service.
• Suggestively sell and up-sell items.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area and comply with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Verify ID on customers ordering alcohol.
• Work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and fluent in English.
• Ability to work in an open-air environment in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs or ramps.
• Sufficient mobility for constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling.
• Meets state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
• Follows safety policies, completes company safety training and works in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting.
