Casework Supervisor

About the role

The Casework Supervisor leads a team delivering direct client services for the Program for Initial Resettlement (PIR) and Refugee Social Service (RSS) programs. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, this fixed‑term position ensures program goals, compliance, and budgetary responsibilities are met while providing a supportive environment for staff and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop direct service staff, conduct team meetings, and manage performance.
• Oversee PIR and RSS case management, assign cases, and ensure timely delivery of services such as housing, school enrollment, health assessments, and benefit applications.
• Build partnerships with property owners, community organizations, and government agencies to expand client resources.
• Maintain documentation compliance, prepare donor reports, and support monitoring visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in social work or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in domestic refugee resettlement or similar programs.
• Experience supervising staff and managing program budgets is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Integra, IRIS, SMART, and Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
