Case Management Supervisor

About the role

The University of Miami is seeking a seasoned RN to lead its weekend case management team. This supervisor will coordinate staffing, oversee patient assessments, and ensure compliance with case management protocols while providing guidance to staff during weekend coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate weekend staffing schedules and daily assignments.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and support professional development.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Address and resolve patient and family concerns promptly.
• Review and update treatment plans as needed.
• Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee documentation and reporting of patient progress.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and university policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and resource management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant case management or nursing experience.
• Valid State of Florida RN license.
• Demonstrated ability in performance management, team leadership, and training.
