Carpenter - Form Fabrication

About the role

Enterprise Precast Concrete makes architectural precast components, from panels and custom fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation. The Carpenter works with the Carpenter Foreman on fabricating and setting up forms for all precast concrete products made in the plant, plus other carpentry work as directed by management. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Use approved piece tickets to build forms for precast concrete panels according to architectural specifications and PCI requirements.
• Meet regularly with the Carpenter Foreman to discuss production sequences, form construction problems and process improvements.
• Inform the Foreman about inventory status of form-related materials so supplies can be ordered on time.
• Maintain tools properly and use appropriate safety guards.
• Manage your own carpentry workload and come to work regularly and on time.
• Work as a team player and maintain plant safety in line with the Company Safety Manual.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of recent general carpentry experience.
• At least 2 years working with finish carpentry products such as cabinetry and other woodworking.

Required skills

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and specifications.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and piece tickets.
