Carpenter – Construction & Restoration Services

About the role

The Carpenter will work on wood construction and repair projects for Advanced Disaster Recovery, delivering high‑quality services to clients and referral partners while upholding the company brand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide repair services as defined by work orders and scope documentation.
• Install wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, joists, studs, cabinets, shelving, and fitted furniture.
• Read and interpret blueprints, designs, and building code recommendations to meet specifications.
• Select and source lumber and materials appropriate to project budgets and styles.
• Perform measurements, cut, shape, and finish lumber and other materials.
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, and other structural components.
• Lay out and install flooring, roofing, drywall, and ensure proper leveling.
• Maintain power tools and equipment, set up dust control, and manage site clean‑up.
• Communicate client updates, take daily activity photos for the CRM, and coordinate with project managers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience.
• Physically fit with high endurance and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Valid driver’s license and clean background check.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with carpentry tools and measuring instruments.
• Experience operating heavy machinery and electrical equipment.
• Blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
