About the role
Be the primary point of contact for all incoming cargo shipments to a classified federal warehouse, ensuring safe handling and compliance with security protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Physically receive and screen all incoming cargo shipments, completing required documentation.
- Use moving and loading/unloading equipment to transport items from delivery vehicles to storage locations.
- Prevent uncleared individuals from handling classified material.
- Verify inventory lists, cargo manifests, and bills of lading match received items and document any mismatches.
- Inspect cargo for damage before acceptance and report issues.
- Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required by the sponsor.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience in cargo, shipments, deliveries, or warehouse operations.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to resolve issues at the lowest level.
- Current active Secret security clearance.
Required skills
- Forklift operation and certification.
- Experience handling shipping documentation such as manifests, bills of lading, and inventory lists.
- Proficiency with warehouse moving and loading/unloading equipment.
What we offer
- Salary range $19.86 - $34.76 per hour.
