Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is hiring a Registered Nurse to work in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at its Benton/Bryant campus. The RN will deliver direct patient care, assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced interventional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.
• Prepare and maintain the catheterization lab equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, cardiac rhythm, and response to procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and support staff to ensure seamless workflow.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with UAMS policies.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in shift hand‑offs and communicate critical information to the care team.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Willingness to work variable shifts in the United States.
