About the role
The Campus Operations Coordinator serves as the primary operational liaison for the Liberty campus, ensuring smooth daily functions and a positive experience for students, staff, and visitors. This role works closely with academic, facilities, security and human‑resources teams to maintain a safe, welcoming, and productive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily campus operations and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Act as the main point of contact for operational issues, collaborating with college departments to resolve them.
- Partner with Facilities to keep buildings, classrooms, restrooms, grounds and common areas clean, safe, and well‑maintained.
- Manage facility rentals and prepare spaces for internal and external events.
- Oversee campus fleet vehicle availability, maintenance scheduling, and checkout procedures with Administrative Services.
- Collaborate with Campus Police on security, emergency preparedness, daily building security procedures, and assist during emergencies.
- Support Academic Affairs by ensuring classroom readiness and addressing instructional operational needs.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and present recommendations to college leadership.
- Organize employee engagement activities and contribute to the Campus Engagement Committee.
- Promote communication among departments to foster a positive workplace culture and work with Human Resources on employee relations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience coordinating campus or large‑scale facility operations.
- Strong knowledge of safety, security, and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
