Campus Fellow – Civic Engagement at Saint Joseph's University

About the role

Project 26 Pennsylvania is seeking a Campus Fellow to mobilize Saint Joseph's University students around civic engagement and voter registration ahead of the 2026 elections.

Key responsibilities

• Engage students through high‑traffic canvassing, tabling, door‑to‑door outreach in dorms and off‑campus locations.
• Facilitate conversations on issues such as education, climate, and jobs, linking them to election outcomes.
• Register students to vote and assist with data entry as needed.
• Plan and run student‑centered events and coordinate logistics for campus organizing activities.
• Leverage campus networks to collaborate on events, voter registration drives, and other opportunities.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about talking with large numbers of young people and comfortable with cold‑approaching strangers.
• Passionate about civic engagement and inspiring youth participation in the political process.
• Creative, scrappy, and willing to try new, untested approaches.
• Able to thrive in fast‑changing environments and stay focused amid uncertainty.
• Currently enrolled at Saint Joseph's University (non‑students may apply for a full‑time Campus Organizer role).
