Buyer/Planner I

About the role

We are seeking an entry‑level, data‑driven Planner/Buyer to analyze MRP/ERP data, translate supply/demand status into purchasing plans, and support our production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to MRP and manually generated material and shop order requisitions.
• Monitor accuracy of manufacturing and purchasing Bills of Materials and report material availability.
• Maintain schedule and status of deliverables, actions and issues.
• Work with Operations to ensure timely delivery of materials for production.
• Manage supply partner relationships, lead times, and schedules.
• Write and release requisitions and purchase orders for components, samples, prototypes and finished goods.
• Develop a competitive sourcing environment to improve quality, cost, service and technology.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Management or related field.
• 0‑5+ years experience in inventory, demand or allocation planning, preferably with electro‑mechanical consumer products.
• Strong analytical, computer and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self‑starter able to meet deadlines.
