Business Unit Finance Manager – Phoenix, AZ

About the role

Moog’s Space and Defense Group is seeking a Business Unit Finance Manager to lead finance functions for the E&IS business unit across three sites in Arizona, California and Colorado. Based in Phoenix, AZ, you will join the Business Unit Leadership Team and support profitable growth through financial reporting, budgeting and cost management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and communicate long‑range financial projections, annual budgets and monthly/quarterly results.
• Perform variance analysis, balance‑sheet forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Manage cost accounting, project costing and profitability analysis.
• Partner with site leadership to interpret financial health and drive decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with company finance policies and ASC 606 revenue‑recognition standards.
• Lead and develop a Site Finance Manager and a Financial Analyst reporting to you.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance management within a multi‑site, manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to present financial results to senior leadership.
• Ability to build relationships across functional teams and influence business performance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue‑recognition compliance.
