Business Relationship Manager, IT

About the role

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as the primary interface between IT and business functions, guiding technology initiatives, financial planning, and executive reporting within a product‑centric operating model.

Key responsibilities

• Establish trusted relationships with business leaders, surface demand, and translate business goals into technology initiatives aligned with the enterprise roadmap.
• Lead end‑to‑end business case creation, manage initiative budgets, track spend versus plan, and validate value delivery.
• Maintain a prioritized portfolio backlog, monitor initiative health, and coordinate cross‑portfolio planning and dependencies.
• Prepare executive governance artifacts, present status updates, and drive decision‑making in steering committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or related field with 5+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to executive audiences.
• Proven ability to manage complex business issues, drive change, and work in ambiguous environments.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Project/portfolio management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce/CRM, or modern Data & AI platforms

What we offer

• Salary range $90,000 – $110,000 per year
• Bonus opportunity up to 20%
